I've been canning! A lot!
First I canned strawberry jam, followed by raspberry jam.
Then I pressure canned french cut green beans, lots and lots of green beans!
My green bean stash!
I also canned some beef stew, ground beef, carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, pickled beets, chick peas, couscous and peach jam!
Luckily, I still have room to store more jars, because it's not over yet... I still have more to can while the produce is fresh and the prices are really low! :-)
Oh, I also have to dehydrate leeks, sweet red, yellow and green peppers, apples, pears and zucchini...
But that won't prevent me from going back to knitting and crocheting, I need rugs, big rugs!!!
Oh MY!!! I am going to add a link of this post to my blog. I cannot believe you girl! Beautiful! I'll be right over!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Kristen! I have to say that I love your blog!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteTruly awesome! When I lived in the NE US, we canned. My favorite was fresh tomatoes canned with a bit of garlic, onion and basil. Great when winter set in. Here, in Las Vegas, veggies don't grow too easily due to the high heat we have in summer. I am jealous! LOL
ReplyDeleteWow, that's what I call canning!
ReplyDeleteMerci! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am lost in admiration...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I think this the start of a mutual admiration society, I absolutely love what you do!!! :-)
